We are looking forward to the upcoming The Golden State Battle V in Hollister, California. Event organizer, Jim Palmer, will be sending out a more detailed team packet as we get closer to the event. For now, we wanted to give teams a little bit more information about the event.

  • Dates: March 3-4, 2023
  • Event Location:

      10031 Pacheco Pass Highway
      Hollister, CA. 95023
  • Team sites:

    • All spaces are paid through your contest registration for both Friday and Saturday nights. Check-out is by noon on Sunday. If you have friends or family coming to visit you during the contest, please note that all additional vehicles may be charged a day use fee of $10.00 per day per person. All contest spaces include both water and sewer hookups as well as at least 30 amps of power.
  • Prize pool:
    • $6,000 (25 teams)
    • $7,000 (30 teams)
    • $8,000 (35 teams)
      *Category breakdowns will be posted at a later date.
  • Friday:
    • There will be a Cook’s meeting around 5:00 pm, a Potluck Dinner (we will put out a sign up list as we get closer to the event), followed by the Hall of Fame and Team of the Year 2022 awards.
  • Raffle:
    • A raffle will be held Friday evening, as well as into Saturday, with the winners being announced at the awards ceremony on Saturday. *Winners do not need to be present
